KNIGHTS AND OTTERS COMPLETE TRADE

The London Knights and Erie Otters have completed a trade.  The Knights have traded defenseman, Jacob Golden to the Otters in exchange for Erie’s fourth round selection in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection as well as Erie’s third round selection in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection – conditional.

“We are very proud of everything that Jacob was able to accomplish during his time with the Knights,” said London Knights’ General Manager, Mark Hunter.  “From when we selected Jacob in the 15th round to becoming an NHL draft pick, Jacob has taken significant steps in his hockey career.  We wish him all the best going forward both on and off the ice.”

Golden was originally selected in the 15th round of the 2015 OHL Priority Selection by the Knights.  He was a draft pick of the Minnesota Wild, taken in the fifth round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
