KNIGHTS COMPLETE CHL IMPORT DRAFT

The London Knights have completed their selections in the 2017 CHL Import Draft.  After teams passed on their picks, the Knights ended up selecting 43rd and 66th overall.

With the 43rd overall selection in the draft, the Knights selected, Jesper Bratt.  The Swedish forward was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the sixth round, 162nd overall, in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.  In 2015-2016, the 1998 born winger won a silver medal with Team Sweden at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.

With the 66th overall selection in the 2017 CHL Import Draft, London selected another Swedish import in Adam Boqvist.  The smooth skating, offensive defenceman played for Brynas of the Swedish U18 League in the 2016-2017 season where he scored eight goals and 14 points in 8 games played.  Born in 2000, Boqvist will be eligible for the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
