2013-2014 KNIGHTS SEASON SCHEDULE RELEASED

LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights will open exhibition play on Friday, August 30, 2013 when the Sarnia Sting visit Budweiser Gardens for a 7:30pm game.  There will be two home exhibition games and two road exhibition games for the London Knights this pre-season.  The complete pre-season schedule is listed below: 

The back to back Ontario Hockey League Champions and 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup hosts London Knights will begin the 2013-2014 OHL regular season on Friday, September 20, 2013 when the Plymouth Whalers visit Budweiser Gardens for a 7:30pm game.  The Knights will play again at home on Friday, September 27, 2013 against the Saginaw Spirit before taking to the road to face the Guelph Storm on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 2:00pm.

Fans can look forward to a number of different highlights this coming season.  The Knights will hold a commemorative Movember game on Friday, November 29, 2013 against the North Bay Battalion at 7:30pm at Budweiser Gardens.  The team will wear commemorative Movember jerseys that will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to the London Health Sciences Center in support of Prostate Cancer Awareness. 

The 14th annual London Knights Teddy Bear Toss presented by SunLife Financial will be on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at 7:00pm at Budweiser Gardens.  Fans will be encouraged once again to bring a new stuffed toy to be thrown on the ice during the London Knights first goal of the game.  All toys collected will be donated to the local Salvation Army to be given to children in need this holiday season.

The London Knights will also play the Plymouth Whalers 5:00pm on Sunday, December 29, 2013 in an outdoor doubleheader as part of the 2013 Hockeytown Winter Festival at Comerica Park in Detroit.  All of these exciting events lead up to the hosting of the 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup at Budweiser Gardens from May 16-25, 2014.  There is no doubt that London Knights fans are in for an exhilarating season.

Individual game tickets for 2013-2014 London Knights home games will go on sale to the general public on August 3, 2013.  A walk up ticket will cost $19.25 with additional charges for orders online or over the phone.  The OMAC Mortgages London Knights Box Office is open Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm by phone only.  The Aluminum Associates London Knights Armoury is open Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm for those wishing to stop by in person.  Please enter the Armoury off of Talbot Street.
