BUCH & MARTENET COMMIT TO KNIGHTS

LONDON, ONTARIO: General Manager Mark Hunter announced today that the London Knights 5th round (95th overall) selection in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection, centreman Jacob Buch, as well as free agent left-shooting defenseman Chris Martenet have both committed to and entered into an Ontario Hockey League Standard Player’s Agreement with the London Knights. 

 

Buch, a Stoney Creek, Ontario native, spent last season with the Hamilton Bulldogs, attended the Ontario U16 Camp and played with Hamilton in the OHL Cup Showcase.  In 34 games last season, he recorded 9 goals and 18 assists for a total of 27 points and 76 penalty minutes. 

 

Martenet, a St. Louis, Missouri native, spent last season with the Indiana Ice of the USHL.  The 6.06 defenseman weighs in at 188lbs and was a +6 in 35 games played last season recording 5 assists and 20 penalty minutes.  Both Buch and Martenet will report to London Knights training camp in late August.
