KNIGHTS RECEIVE COMMITMENT FROM THREE DRAFT PICKS

London Knights General Manager Rob Simpson is proud to announce that the team has received commitment from three draft picks. 2017 third round pick Dalton Duhart, 2016 third round pick Ryan Bangs, and 2017 import select Jesper Bratt have all committed to joining the Knights for the upcoming season.
Duhart was selected 48th overall by the Knights in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection. The 5’11” 172-pound forward from Flint, Michigan spent this past season with the Detroit Belle Tire U16. In 31 games, Duhart recorded 17 goals and 25 assists for a total of 42 points.
In addition to Detroit Belle Tire, Duhart played for the Elite Hockey Group in the OHL Cup this past year, where he recorded five goals in four games. He also played for Team HNO in the OGC-16 tournament, where he recorded one goal and one assist in five games. Duhart will wear #71 this season.

Ryan Bangs was selected 61st overall by the Knights while in the midst of the team’s MasterCard Memorial Cup winning season. The 5’9” 164-pound defenceman from Stittsville, Ontario split this past season with the Carleton Place Canadians of the CCHL and the Arnprior Packers of the CCHL2. In nine games with the Canadians, Bangs recorded one goal and two assists. Bangs played in 24 games with the Packers, where he produced four goals and 19 assists for 23 points. The puck moving blue-liner will be wearing #44 this season.

Jesper Bratt was selected 49th overall by the Knights in the 2017 CHL Import Draft. The 5’9.5”, 170-pound winger from Stockholm, Sweden spent this past season with AIK IF of the SweAI league. In 46 games, Bratt recorded six goals and 16 assists for 22 points. The 19-year-old was selected in the 6th round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. Bratt will wear #17 this season.
