OHL ANNOUNCES 2022-23 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE
JUNE 16, 2022 – The Ontario Hockey League has released the schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 regular season.
Two changes to the upcoming season: Friday night home games have changed from 7:30pm to 7:00pm. The 2022-23 season will also see the return of cross-conference play.
The Knights kick off their season with their home opener on Friday, September 30th at 7:00pm against the Owen Sound Attack. The Knights had plenty of success with Owen Sound last year, winning the season series 9-1. The Mississauga Steelheads will be the first Eastern Conference team to come to London since March 8th, 2020.
The Knights will get a chance at revenge against their 2021-22 first round playoff opponent and rival, Kitchener Rangers on Friday, November 25th, 2022. The Knights will also welcome the newly minted OHL Champions, the Hamilton Bulldogs back to London on Friday, January 6th, 2023.
The Knights will be home for the majority of the holiday season, playing 8 home games and just 2 road games throughout the month of December. The Knights will face a tall task though in the eyes of an 8 game road trip, stretching 18 days just weeks before the end of the regular season.
