Bill Dark enters his 4th season as Goaltending Coach for the London Knights. Prior to his role with London, Dark was the goalie coach for the Windsor Spitfires from 2005–2009 and was a member of the 2009 Memorial Cup Champions and OHL Champions Windsor Spitfires team. He has also worked with the Western University Men’s Hockey Team since 2000 and was a part of the 2002 CIS Championship team.
Bill has a proven track record of getting the best out of his goalies. Having worked with Michael Houser, the reining CHL and OHL Goaltender of the Year as well as the recipient of the OHL’s Red Tilson Trophy as the League’s MVP and Russian World Junior 2011 Gold Medal game MVP Igor Bobkov, Bill is looking forward to this upcoming season with Jake Patterson and Kevin Bailie.
Bill worked with both the London Knights Michael Houser and the Windsor Spitfires Andrew Engelage, who are tied with the OHL single season wins record at 46 wins. Houser also holds the record for most career wins in a Knights uniform. Bill currently lives in London with his 2 daughters Chantal and Gabrielle.
